Tonight we are doing one of my favourite things, we are attending a fund raiser for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy "Play For A Cure". The Australian Poker League have organised a poker game at one of the Sydney Clubs with a host of celebrities attending, a mountain of prizes donated and all proceeds going to the Childrens Hospital at Westmead Institute for Neuromuscuar Research. This afternoon I looked on the website to see what time the evening started and the club had a notice that evening was sold out which is wonderful. Only a handful of years ago no one had even heard of Duchennes and now fund raising is undertaken by these high profile groups; its humbling to see so many pitching in to help.
